Need other resources?
Visit our Calendar to view department-wide events, lectures (in-house and guest), faculty/staff meetings, mock job talks, and more! Our calendar only displays seven events at a time.
If you are curious about an event that does not presently show, please contact Hyein Kim (firstname.lastname@example.org).
For Our Faculty
Faculty Resources is your one-stop-shop for anything you need to know about bylaws, travel, research, and teaching for our department.
For travel, you will find information about current travel award opportunities, domestic and international travel requirements and forms, as well as details about CISI Education Abroad coverage.
Looking for internal funding opportunities for an upcoming research project? Need resources for IRB approval? You can find information and links at Faculty Resources.
For teaching related resources, we have included information and forms for requesting a new course (ANTH 489/689), Office of Graduate Studies (OGS) forms, and departmental forms.
There are also segments on how to nominate guest speakers to participate in a visiting lecture for the department, and forms for evaluation processes and professional development.
For Our Graduate Students
Graduate Resources is where you can find information about travel, research, degree paperwork, and annual student evaluations.
If you are looking for forms for student travel and research, study abroad, or the Department of Anthropology travel request form, all of that and more can be found in Graduate Resources.
If you are searching for internal funding opportunities for your upcoming research or information about contacting Research Compliance and Biosafety at Texas A&M for IRB approval, then you’re looking in the right place!
We have also included necessary information for your graduate degree paperwork, which includes OGS and departmental forms, and the departmental annual student evaluation. For an example of a typical annual student evaluation form, you can view last year’s version HERE. This is only an example, and NOT the evaluation form for the current academic year. Student Evaluation Forms will be posted soon for the academic year of 2012-2013! For more information, please contact Marco Valadez at email@example.com.
Diversity Resources shares information about women faculty in our department, a list and brief descriptions of campus organizations that support diversity-related issues, and a short list of relevant organizations within the discipline of anthropology. Many of our faculty and students, both undergraduate and graduate, are involved in these diversity-related organizations throughout campus.
Film Library for the Department
Feel free to peruse through our extensive film library in the Department of Anthropology. Films should be checked out from one of our student workers in Anthropology 234. Our films are ONLY available to faculty and graduate student teaching assistants in the Department of Anthropology, and strictly for use in the classroom.
If you have suggestions for additional links or resources that might be useful to our viewing community and the department website, or if you are unable to find what you are looking for in the Resources section, please contact Hyein Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org
