September 2: Australia: Down Under
Let your child come explore the land down under! We'll learn about all the deadly animals that inhabit it as well as the unique marsupials. We'll also learn about the native culture and lifestyle.
September 9: Night Watch: Nocturnal Animals
When the sun goes down, these critters come out to play! Bats, raccoons, opossums, and many more! We'll look at how they live.
September 23: Weather: Storm Trackers
You'll learn what causes tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters! Also, we'll look into what you can do to stay safe in bad weather.
September 30: Food for Though
Sample cuisines from around the world as we look into how particular climates influence peoples diets. We'll look in depth at the food pyramid, portion sizes, and what we can do to live healthy lifestyles.
October 14: Renaissance: A Knight's Tale
Travel back in time to explore a different time period. How were life conditions different than today? Learn the customs, languages, and dress of the Renaissance Era.
November 4: Junior Sherlock: Junior Crime Solvers
Be a detective for a day as we work to better understand historical crime solvers and modern day crime solvers. We'll learn about DNA and how that helps solve crimes today. We'll also explore ways kids can stay safe and what to do in an emergency.
